There are lots of things you can do with Modeler and Arexx that you
can't do to an object in Layout. For instance, animated boolean
functions. Suppose you want a pyramid to expand from inside a
sphere, defining it's shape by cutting it out of the sphere as it
grows. Easy to write an Arexx program to generate the objects,
painful (currently) to load them into Layout in the right places
without a custom program to build the Scene file.
